What you’ll do:

As Business Partnerships Manager, you’ll be responsible for all aspects of identifying, developing, and maintaining alliances or partnerships that assist the organization in meeting its strategic business revenue objectives. Integral to our success, you’ll open doors with potential partners, lead exploratory discussions, and evaluate/develop business opportunities to enhance WSC’s product and business goals.

  • Create an approach to sourcing partnerships and relationship management, which is based on a deep understanding of WSC’s offering, business needs, and industry dynamics.
  • Collaborate with different teams to build and maintain a pipeline of relationships with potential partners, taking responsibility for the relationship throughout all stages.
  • Conducts due diligence evaluating potential partners and develops and delivers presentations highlighting the value of alliances or partnerships to all involved parties.
  • Help develop and lead WSC’s partnerships roadmap and strategy, including with respect to API, and leverage business alliances to promote different product integrations.
  • Define value propositions based on tech integrations and joint use cases.
  • Reach out & manage business relationships with key technical and business partners, identify new revenue opportunities, drive product integrations and lead cross-organizational projects. 
  • Assists with the negotiation of formal alliance or partnership agreements, and ensures ongoing satisfaction of the partner organization.
  • Identify innovative opportunities to drive impact through an understanding of market trends and opportunities
  • Drive channel acquisitions growth through understanding the competitive landscape, optimizing existing channel performance, and identifying new opportunities
  • Monitoring partners’ performance, analyzing metrics for revenue and margin opportunities, and recommending/implementing changes based on the results.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that the biz dev and account team members have the required partnership materials and support information for sales calls, trade shows, and proposal responses.

What you’ll need:

  • 5+ years of experience in Partnerships/BizDev teams in a tech/startup company.
  • Strategic thinking and proven ability to drive processes end-to-end from concept to execution
  • Independent learning skills with high proficiency in conducting in-depth research and analysis
  • Great people skills and the ability to empathize with the potential customer/partner
  • High ability to work independently and self-manage

Bonus Points:

  • Relevant experience in managing & executing SaaS products sales cycles
  • Experience working in a multinational setting and in different time zones
  • Technical background and familiarity with the R&D process
  • Entrepreneurial experience in a startup growth company
