Sales Engineer - NY

  • Responsible for custom solution definition and delivery for our customers in the Americas. 
  • Deliver comprehensive solutions to meet customers’ business and technical challenges and needs, along with the pre-sale and post-sale teams. 
  • Lead technical conversations, support partner integration efforts, and real-time troubleshooting, e.g. offering best practices, clear guidelines, integration requirements, etc. and.
  • Work closely and be the connecting link to our product and development, to help establish product short term plans and roadmap based on customer requests and feedback. 
  • Use your knowledge to influence customer decisions, provide insightful solutions, and drive successful proof of concept implementations.

What You'll Do

  • Technical point of contact of all aspects of a successful implementation from Pre-sales Requirements and Design to Training and Delivery.
  • Present proposed solutions and maintain ongoing technical discussions with the customer across all levels.
  • Assist the Sales/CS team as the technical subject matter expert for WSC Sports platform during customer calls and presentations
  • Work with Product and R&D teams to capture and articulate customer and prospect special integration needs. 
  • Build best practices for technical deployments.
  • Provide technical guidance and support for the post-sale team, taking the lead with customized integrations, project delivery management, end to end production flow validation and complex solution definitions.
  • Running SQL queries and look at code samples to speed up the project definition process and assist the Customer success team during their day to day routine.


What You'll Need

  • 2+ years of experience in Sales/BizDev/Customer Success teams, or as a technical account manager, in high-tech companies or sports media companies.
  • 2 + years of experience working with customers in a pre-sales or post-sales technical role
  • Experience with hands-on architecture and design of SaaS, Cloud, and API driven applications
  • Proven ability to collaborate with key functional teams, in particular product, customer success, and R&D teams
  • Passion for demonstrating solutions and ability to provide technical input during the sales/post-sale process
  • You also have experience in scoping, management and execution of customer pilots as well as POCs, and great skill in the integration of SaaS applications.
  • It is important that you have a technical mindset, allowing you to tackle complex web, API, and architecture problems, heavy client-facing experience
  • Willing to travel

Nice to Haves

  • Engineering or Computer Science degree/experience- high advantage
  • Worked for a sports/media/sports-media company.
  • product/project management experience
