In our latest ‘WSC Sports Meets’ Zoom video series we were joined by Ace Asas, Digital Content Manager, from the International Volleyball Federation, also known as the FIVB.
The FIVB, based out of Lausanne, Switzerland is the governing body responsible for all forms of Volleyball on a global level, consisting of 222 member federations and presiding over five continental confederations.
With WSC Sports’ Social and Content and Marketing Specialist, Simon Ironmonger, Ace explained how the Coronavirus has impacted global volleyball. He also shared how the FIVB has been filling the content void across their digital media, what it takes to win a social media award and he hinted at what a return to action may look like.
We caught up with @FIVBVolleyball to hear how the Coronavirus has affected the world of #volleyball. 🏐
We also discussed digital content strategy, social media awards, returning to action & more!#WSCsports | #FIVB | #Sports | #SportsTech | #ItsAutomagical | @simonironmonger pic.twitter.com/7vhgmn5oMp
