When we at WSC Sports get the chance to put on a company trip, we go all out to give everyone the best experience possible!
Last week, we finally got the opportunity to take the entire company (300+ and still hiring like crazy) on a well-deserved two day break to the North of Israel. Not only was this the first event we were able to host since the pandemic, but it was our first global company event, with our employees from the US, UK, and Australia joining the rest of the team based in Tel Aviv.
To celebrate all the hard work that is put in daily at WSC Sports, we were treated to two days of eating, drinking, fun and relaxation.
It all kicked off with our first meetup point, breakfast in beautiful Caesarea, where we ate together by the sea next to the amazing Roman ruins.
After we were all well-fed and had a chance to mingle at breakfast, we headed further north for some rafting action on the Jordan River. Some employees chose to take it nice and easy, floating calmly, drinking a beer, eating some watermelon, and letting the current do the work, some let their competitive nature shine through battling to be the first to finish, while others simply focused on causing chaos with a whole lot of splashing!
The highlight of the trip was a stay at the Galilion Hotel, surrounded by the rolling Galilee hills. We were greeted by a delicious gourmet food truck, drinks, and awesome company swag. The afternoon was spent relaxing by the pool, sipping cocktails and getting foot massages, and then getting in the mood for the evening’s activities with a pool party, with a DJ pumping out the tunes to keep the good vibes going.
Next up was a tasty dinner and then it was truly time to party and cap off a great first day of the trip. Letting loose we partied till the early morning, with more awesome music and an open bar that sure helped bring together people from all departments and locations to shake their thing on the dance floor! What better way to bond than through an all-night celebration?
To take the evening to the next level we were also entertained with a surprise performance by none other than former Eurovision winner Netta Barzilai! Netta was the perfect performer for both our local and international audience, who got to enjoy a top performance from one of the nation’s biggest pop stars.
After a good night’s sleep, the trip was rounded off with a full day at Bora Bora Beach on the shore of the beautiful Sea of Galilee, where we had the chance to shake off the sore heads from the night before with a refreshing dip in the sea, chilling out on the loungers, and getting a full body massage. And of course there was plenty to keep us entertained too with banana boats, SAP, ping pong, table tennis, music and of course, plenty more food and drink!
